TROOP MERIT BADGE COUNSELORS |
BACK TABLE |
RULES FOR ONLINE SAFETY |
|
|
-
Reminder that all permission slips, money, questions, comments,
cookies or whatever (!) are due at the back table no later than 7:30
PM each Tuesday evening. Don't be a victim! Don't be growled at by
cranky Back Table Ladies! Their bark is WORSE than their bite, so
watch out!
-
Advancements and Awards: Cut off date for advancements and awards is
the LAST Tuesday of the month PRIOR to the Court of Honor. This change
eases the massive paperwork load of the volunteers at the back table.
-
Vouchers: Vouchers are good
for six months from date of issue. If you turn in your voucher after
six months, the back table assistants will not accept them.

A few words of caution for Boy Scouts or other young people...
The Internet allows access to a vast amount of knowledge.
However, the Internet can also present hazards you should know about and avoid.
Most people using the Internet are friendly and honest. However, there are some
who use the Internet to take advantage of others. There are also Web sites with
content that is unsuitable for young people.
Don't respond to messages or Web sites that make you feel
uncomfortable or that you know were meant only for adults. If you come across
information or images that you don't understand, talk about it with your parent
or guardian.
Don't give out personal information, including your address,
telephone number, photograph, school name, or your parents' work address or
phone number.
Never agree to meet anyone who has contacted you online
unless your parent or guardian comes with you.
